What Information is being collected?
Theresa’s Learning Bytes will be what is known as the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data which does not include any special types of information or location based information. What we do with your information
All the data we process, is processed by our staff in the UK. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data, unless the law allows them to do so. Your first name and email address may be stored in our MailChimp database, if you have actively consented to us sending you information via email.
Your data will be held on web servers held in the UK. If you make a purchase from us (including a free item) in order for us to service your account and provision your request.
We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of our personal data.
How long we keep it
We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. Any information we use for emailing you details of training events, and or hints and tips will be held by us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive the information. You may do this at any time by unsubscribing.
How is it collected?
We collect data electronically from the website and Social Media websites through signup forms. If you have given us your business card, we will only use the information to contact you to fulfil a request you made or set up a meeting/pass you business. By giving us your business card you will be deemed to have given consent to this. By mutual agreement we may pass your business card to a potential client.

To improve your knowledge of IT and associated computer skills. This information is not shared with third parties and you can unsubscribe at any time via email or through the automated unsubscribe link at the bottom of the automated emails. There is a summary of what you are signing up to in close proximity to any sign up forms we use. It clearly states that completion of the form will show you have actively given your consent to use this data. If you do not want to consent to this, then please do not fill in the form.

What are your rights?
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect, you may request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact the Data Controller, who will investigate the matter.
If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
